STYW + The BizNiss///Friday The 13th Edition

friday_the_13th_GNAR copy

Happy Friday everyone! I know i'm ready for the weekend. Today is not just any Friday, it's Friday the 13th and that means it's time to get extra Gnar Gnar here on the Corner. I hope everyone is feeling nice and ghoulish and ready to get LOOSE and WEIRD! I've got the pleasure of going to see some great talent from San Francisco tonight at the Avalon. Claude Von Stroke, Justin Martin and J. Phlip will be providing some super deep Tech-House grooves for me tonight, not to mention Moombahton All-Star Dillon Francis headlining at the Honey Lounge stage. I may just skip the headliner and groove to Dillon, but we'll see. I'm gonna post videos of that show for sure. Until then i'll leave you with some great weekend starters both old and new. And as always on Friday, look out for The BizzNiss below. Ready....Aim.....Fire!

This first one is a new track from OC based Epilectrix who I just recently heard about from my homie Bobby. I love Electro and these guys are doing it right. I can't wait to catch a live show from them.
Epilectrix - Shine

Now i've got another from the Toronto hero, Paul David. Here he has remixed to great effect the newest single from super group, Swedish House Mafia called "Save The World Tonight." If you haven't already go check out the post I did on Paul the other day right HERE, it's full of bangers.
Swedish House Mafia - Save The World Tonight (Paul David remix)

Skrillex is always good in my book. Not very often is there an artist who can whisk you away with some lovely melodies and then take a lightspeed u-turn into raging oblivion. I seriously wanna kick down some doors to this one.
Lady Gaga - Died This Way (Skrillex remix)

Now for tunes that I had promised a while back when I said I had recovered my old hardrive. These tracks are at least a couple years old if not older but they still pack a killer punch. Get in super gnarly Gnar Gnar mode to these next few doozies. The Riot in Belgium remix if Yelle is soo crazy. I actually thought that is how Yelle sounded before I heard any of her original productions, haha!
Yelle - A Cause des Garcons (Riot In Belgium remix)
Grum - Go Back (Le Castle Vania remix)
Gun N Bombs - Riddle of Steel
Don Diablo & Example - Hooligans (Extended Mix)

BBC Radio1 Djs, Jaymo & Andy George have just released their new EP titled, "Night Music," and it's just that. So turn it up and grab your partner on the dance floor cuz it's about to get groovy. The hit single "Pocket Song" is so weird and fun and is getting play by the likes of another Radio1 legend, Annie Mac. Be sure and check out The Jaymo & Andy George show on BBC Radio1 for more world class dance music.
Jaymo & Andy George - Pocket Song
Jaymo & Andy George - Midnight (4am Version)

And if that Skrillex track above didn't fulfill your Dubstep needs then look no further cuz I got the newest greatness from the one and only Emalkay, who will be here in L.A. for HARD Summer, which by the way has an amazing line up so come out to Cali for it if you aint already here.
Emalkay - Fabrication
Emalkay - Massive

And last but not least is probably my favorite song of the moment. I am a sucker for a nice groovy House track with just a touch of attitude and this Jamie Jones remix of Azari and III is such an amazing example of that. I mean c'mon, Pete Tong is playing it in his sets so how can you go wrong?
Azari and III - Hungry For The Power (Jamie Jones Ridge Street Mix)

Allright everyone I hope y'all enjoyed those Gnar Gnar tunes and now it's time to attend to your BizNiss! Have a great weekend.

Cheers,
DENCK

Finally it's Friday! I had a really rough/humid week...how bout' you? I got just the thing to help dance off that work week....hot sweaty BizNiss. So lace up those dance shoes, and sweat out the bad stuff. This week's playlist was designed for one thing:  make your ears orgasm while simultaneously helping you fit into that summer swim suit. I believe Denck has got us nice and loose now so let's work it...

Katy Perry - Last Friday Night(T.G.I.F.)(Laidback Luke)
It's Friday so lets have Mr. Laidback Luke start our party!

Carl Tricks - Shup
This is a Friday banger for sure. The Dutch are very popular on The Corner. If you don't know what Dutch House sounds like, Carl Tricks will educate ya.  The drop one this one is nasty...be careful.

Crime Mob - Knuck If You Buck(Sonora Remix)
It's about time someone remixed this riot starter.

Afrojack - Pop On Acid
It's time for Dutch God Sir Afrojack to give us a lesson on raving.

AutoErotique - Don't Wait Till I'm Sober(Billy The Gent Mix)
I Fucking Love This Song. Turn Up The Volume! Not sure how I acquired this track, but I love William the Gentleman and wanna thank him for introducing me to AutoErotique.

Vetiver Bong - Orgasmico(Ramirez vs. Vetiver Bong)
One of my favorite tracks off the Cumbia Weapons EP by Vetiver Bong. The EP is very solid and worth the download if your a Moombahton fan like us. Grab it here

Felix Cartal - Kung Lao's Theme
Unfortunately I missed Felix @ Club Europe the other night opening for Wolfgang Gartner. Here he is doing his thing for Kung Lao off the Mortal Kombat Soundtrack. Thanks to everyone reppin The Corner that night.

Munchi - Pun ain't Dead
This track by Munchi never gets old to me... a pristine example of Moombahton! Munchi made the Moombahton Massive EP in one night...the same night he discovered the genre.

AutoErotique - Apollo
Another track from AutoErotique...like I said earlier, I just recently discovered this artist and I'm hooked, so how about another one? This song is out of this world!

La Sonora De Margarita - Que Nadie Sepa Mi Sufrir
I put a number on you guys with this week's playlist so I'll end it with a more traditional/slower Cumbia track. Reminds me of a hot summer day. This song is really fun to groove to...I believe it's title translates to "No One Knows My Name."

Salud,

SCOYK

I've been enjoying your posts. You should compile all the songs you post each month into a zip and either host it or set it up as a torrent.

Yeah Stevo not a bad idea. We usually post up zips after big playlists but have still been working out some hosting kinks. We should just start using our server to upload big .zip files cuz most free music hosts have a limit on how big a .zip file you can include. Really glad you are enjoying the site bro. Stay up!

      Cheers,
      Denck
