CODES AND BART B MORE @ AVALON /// 11/25/11
We've been away this long weekend being lazy, but not lazy enough not to go to shows. Over the Thanksgiving holiday I was able to see Nadastrom, Codes and Bart B More live, albeit not all in the same evening. I've seen all of these acts before and it's pretty obvious why I decided to see them again. THEY ARE ALL AWESOME. I'll save the Nadastrom videos for a separate post because it was a different night. Codes and Bart were the same night, last Friday at the Avalon. I was there, surprise surprise. Codes' track selection is off the hook and he is a great DJ in the traditional sense, which I must say makes such a big difference for live performances. Codes dropped a bunch of his originals and remixes, and made the crowd go ape shit to some exclusive Moombahton bangers by JWLS. As for Bart B More, he killed it like always, playing the best of his originals and remixes. The night was a blast, but I didn't stay to watch Vandalism, except for a few minutes of them opening.
